We work hard but also play hard. For the sporty there is a 5 a side football session every Thursday after work. We are a young company and do enjoy a visit to the pub, but we are also committed to our Clients and if there is a deadline that we need to hit then it will be all hands to the pump to hit that deadline.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER C# .NET FULL STACK.
£30,000 - £45,000 Per Annum, Guildford, Permanent, Full-Time

A great role for an applicant with between 3 and 5 years full-time commercial development experience, who is looking for a new and exciting challenge in an agile multi-skilled development environment.

The candidate will have a very real and direct impact on the services we provide for our household name clients and our employees can expect exposure to the whole project life-cycle.

What sort of projects will you be working on?

The role will include the development of new mobile and web applications which will be highly visible in the public domain.  Examples of our recent work include:

  • Global Movie download systems (including mobile apps) for Sony.

  • Payment solutions for Mastercard.

  • UK wide software system enhancing Clear Channel advertising services by creating new mobile enabled interactive functionality.

  • Global event payment and access software solutions using NFC.

  • iPhone and Android applications for financial service providers.

  • Prototyping for new mobile payment schemes.

  • Web services for innovative personal money management solutions offered by large US/UK banks.

Being a relatively small and dynamic company, the candidate will need to be flexible and work across multiple technologies, be able to pick up things very quickly and take responsibility for their work in terms of content, quality and timely delivery. The candidate will need to have a questioning mindset and be able to look creatively and independently for solutions to problems.

What are we looking for?

The candidate will have at least 3 years commercial experience in software development.

Candidates will be working in multiple technologies and must easily adapt to the needs of the business.  The Primary requirement is that candidates are well versed in C# .Net, MVC and SQL Server.

Candidates should also possess strong skills in a Secondary development language, such as PHP, Android or iOS.

Experience in any of the following areas would also be of benefit (but not essential) – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Unit Testing, VOD/OTT services, Video encoding and DRM.

Candidates must show experience and be capable of managing a small self-contained project (2-3 weeks) from inception to delivery.

Experience with App Flavors, building apps compatible with different device types and Android versions, Asynchronous and reactive programming skills, publishing apps to the Google Play Store, MVVM/MVP architectures, automated UI testing, automated build pipelines, Android Support Library, Dagger/Butterknife, Volley/Retrofit, JUnit, Mockito, Expresso, Appium, Proguard and RxJava.

Experience in any of the following areas would also be of benefit (but not essential) – iOS, C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and experience of the EMV specifications.

Candidates must show experience of the whole project life cycle and be capable of managing a small self-contained project (2-3 weeks) from inception to delivery.
